Cold today..
Hi everbody!
Har precis kommit hem och ska gräva ner mig i läxor nu men innan det så ska jag berätta hur dagen har varit.
Det har varit riktigt kallt idag, och jag som glömde mina supermysiga vantar hemma var inte så glad men vid 10 - tiden så var vi på The Royal British Legion Poppy Factory in Richmond och jag ska ta det här i engelska för det är lättare.
Okey here in England they have wear these poppies whole week and today its a very speciel day because today for 20 years ago the wall wich shared Berlin (called the Berlin wall) in two parts fall down and the second WW ended. England lost many soldiers in both first WW and second WW so these flowers represent they who died in these wars. And people will never forgett the soldiers who died in these wars because they were so many young people that died and so many that got hurt like lost theirs arm or legg. Why did they took a red flower to represent the soldiers? well, its because the national flower of the United Kingdom is a red rose.
I think this was really interesting and we swedes dont know much about how many people England (specielly) had to sacrifice in these wars and it feels terrible that we didnt help them, later USA came in with people but already 500 000 british soldiers had died. And it is wierd that we in Sweden dont have a day there we remember those who died for us. Those who did everthing so we now can live a good life.
hahaha quite funny that when we visit the poppy Legion and we saw when they made these poppies, the song Mamma Mia was playing on the radio and our guide told one worker:
"Hahaha did u play this song now becuase of our swedish guests are here?"
" ohh noo its on the radio"
Anyway vi fick kakor och te vilket var gott den här kalla dagen och sen efter besöket fick vi återgå till våra lektioner men jag hade håltimma så har bara haft en lektion idag och efter det så blev det en fika på Starbucks med Julia och sen ett besök i tesco där jag köpte lunch för imorgon (har slutat med yogurten för ett tag sen), gav även lite små mynt till någon välgörenhet som stod vid ingången, dom fick mina 1 pennys haha. Han blev glad iallefall.
Nä nu får jag återgå till mina "kära" läxböcker och råplugga på proven som kommer denna veckan sen efter dinner ska jag duscha o sen ta en kopp med te och plugga igen.
U know what? That is really sad that i am in london but all i do is study all day...well it will come a week where i can take it easy and go in to London, ohh i almost forgot that Sandra and I am going to see a musical this saturday! We want to see Thriller but we dont know if there is any tickets left so we have to wait and see.
